Emurasoft, Inc., based in
Redmond, Washington, U.S.A., announced today that ShadowFlare, a popular
Japanese PC game, will be released to the public on October 8th. “We are
very excited to announce that the English version of the popular
Japanese PC game ShadowFlare will be available online and that worldwide
audiences will be able to share the enjoyment of playing ShadowFlare
with Japanese gamers”, said Yutaka Emura, president of Emurasoft, Inc.
“I am hoping that ShadowFlare will help a little in bridging the online
gaming communities of Japan and the rest of the world.”
ShadowFlare is an action/role-playing shareware game that was released
by Denyusha Co., Ltd. in Kyoto, Japan last October. Following its
release, ShadowFlare became a craze among many Japanese gamers. In
ShadowFlare, players are mercenaries that help people in turmoil and
fight with notorious monsters. As players adventure through dungeons and
remote cities, their fighting skills grow, and eventually, they choose
their own destiny as a sword fighter, wizard, or hunter.
ShadowFlare consists of four
episodes and the first episode will be available at the official
